Who am I?

My name is Amanda Martin, and I am the creative mind behind PortraitScape Photography! From a very young age, I knew that I would not be happy in this life without a means to create and leave my mark in doing so.  When I found photography, I knew I had discovered my calling.  Here I am, almost a decade later, and I am still as passionate about it as I was from day one.  



If I had to define my style, a lot of words would come to mind.  Some of those words include; classic, whimsy, vintage, fun, timeless, and dramatic.  I feel as though I go beyond the average portraits.  My goal is always to tell a story, or to evoke an emotion with my photographs.  



Our photo sessions are intimate moments between couples, families and friends.  It is my goal to build relationships between you and your loved ones, one photograph at a time. If I can somehow capture the love that a mother has for her child, or the joy of a newly married couple, with their whole lives to look forward to in a photograph, I feel that I am making my mark and doing my part in this world.  Photography is so much more than just snapping a picture; it's being in and feeling the whole moment.  Come along and share some moments with me.....
